2021 Guide to Finding PSLE Cut-Off Points for Secondary Schools

2021 Guide to Finding PSLE CutOff Points for Secondary Schools

The indicative PSLE cut-off point (COP) for each secondary school in 2021 has been announced by MOE.

Note that the COP ranges for the individual schools were simulated using the 2020 P6 cohort's PSLE results and school choices.

For those with children taking PSLE or even in P5 level, you can refer to the indicative COP range to see which schools your children can stand a higher chance of getting into.

A good gauge will be to use the SA1 and subsequently prelim results to add up the overall AL score before shortlisting a list of possible secondary schools your child can qualify for.

Do note that P6 students taking PSLE will receive AL of 1 to 8 for each of the subjects. The overall AL score will be the sum of the 4 AL scores for all four subjects.

The lowest possible overall AL score is 4 while the highest will be 32. Unlike the old PSLE scoring system, the lower the AL score, the better it is for the new PSLE AL scoring system.

For ease of finding more information on the different secondary schools, you can go to the following official link from MOE. Next, narrow down your choices by selecting the necessary parameters.
